   "Creaking, crackling
       freakily,  fractaling
       speaking of tactile tings
from the vantage of Saturn's Rings
       grinding the mind
       into fine
       dust particles
       Art tickles
of faith, space and grace waves
       Dreaming of drummers drumming
       Humming,
       vast regions
       of stunning, cunning conundrums
       metric, magic modulations
       Deep exhalations
       Congratulations, Pete
for creating such a masterful offering
       of sonic elation,
your new creation, "Twilight Walks Over",
       cause for universal celebration.
Pete Zeldman is a genius (I don't use the word lightly)
       and a far reaching visionary.
His music has been a major inspiration to me.
I urge anyone interested in the expansion
       of mind and Spirit
and a dissolving of boundaries and limitations
to listen carefully to Pete Zeldman's
miraculous drumming and prepare to be amazed and uplifted."

Twilight Walks Over is a large variety of pieces using drums only. Tracks cover a wide range of rhythmic concepts - everything from melodic drumming, rhythmic illusions, polyrhythms, cross rhythms and new styles of rhythm quite possibly never heard before. There are surprises in store and a variety of moods throughout!!

New rhythmic ideas are performed and the pieces often sound overdubbed and/or manipulated, but are not. No overdubs were used. Pete is one of the pioneers of multi-pedal drumming. On some of the tracks he orchestrates with his feet as well as his hands, sounding like several drummers playing simultaneously.
